The Evil Mr. Schieffelin

Who I would travel to the past to kill.

Forget about Hitler, Stalin, and Mao. Somebody else can take care of them. I would go back to 1890 New York City and mercilessly kill Eugene Schieffelin, the president of the American Acclimatization Society.

This man decided a certain flying rat species otherwise known as the European Starling, should be in Central Park, because it (among other birds) was mentioned in Shakespeare’s plays! WTF???

Now, this pest has spread from coast to coast, spreading avian diseases, displacing native birds, and shitting all over our cities. This has caused municipalities to spend millions developing strategies to combat them.
